The Articles of Confederation or the AoC was our nations first official form of government, it made many weaknesses and few strengths.  1781-1788.

The Cabinet is a group of Presidential Advisors consisting of jobs such as the Vice President, the Secretary of Defense, etc...

The Electoral college is the group that officialy votes for the President.  These voters are called electors.

The Great Compromise, or the Connetcuit Compromise is the combonation of the New Jersey and the Virginia Plans.  The New Jersey plan is represented with the Senate, where all states are given EQUAL representation.  The Virginia plan is represented with the House of Representatives, where each states representation is based upon their population.

The original intent was to revise the AoC to strengthen the central government, it was located in Philadelphia.

With the 3/5ths compromise.  3 out of 5 slaves counted towards the population for both representation and taxation purposes.
