#2 Scientists who study rocks Geologists
#3 An igneous rock with large particles. Granite
#4 An example of an igneous rock with particles too small to be seen with the plain eye. Obsidian
#5 The process of rocks changing from one kind of rock to another. Rock Cycle
Final Question
In your own words, explain what happens in the rock cycle. Make sure you talk about each type of rock and how they are formed. Igneous Rocks are weathered and the wind and water break them into Sedimentary Rocks. The temperature and pressure on the sedimentary rock causes Metamorphic Rocks to form. Those rocks then melt to form Igneous Rocks and the cycle starts all over again.
